Shaylun Young

I am entering my 20th year as a Hockey Skills Instructor, and I am proud to be the Founder and Head Instructor of the Elite Hockey Science Micro Skills Center.  As the Director of Player Development at EHS Reston and the Director of Hockey at Skatequest, I am passionate about the game of hockey and dedicated to helping players at every level improve their skills and reach their goals.  

I played at   prep school in high school and continued on to play Division 3 hockey at Middlebury College, where my team was 2-time NCAA National Champions. I have had the privilege of working with NHL, AHL, OHL, WHL, and NCAA players throughout my career. I am also a Level 7 Certified Instructor with Elite Hockey Science and am dedicated to consistently improving my knowledge and coaching skills.

Sean McLaughlin

I am a Certified Elite Hockey Science Hockey Instructor entering my 10th year in the field.  I developed a strong background playing at    prep school during my high school years and continued on to play in the American Collegiate Hockey Association at the University of Kentucky.  I have worked with hundreds of players in the DMV area to develop their skills and achieve their goals on the ice.  

As a Level 5 Certified Instructor in EHS, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my coaching sessions. Whether your child is a beginner looking to improve their skills or an experienced player striving to reach the next level, I am committed to helping players reach their full potential.
