Coach Bailey Gehler
With over 15 years of playing experience, I bring a deep understanding of the game and a proven track record at the collegiate level. I competed as a midfielder at both the Division I and Division III levels, including being part of my conference’s first-ever conference championship team. My playing career spans George Mason University and Marymount University, where I also served as team captain.
As a coach, I’ve worked with athletes at every stage of development—from players picking up a stick for the first time to Division I collegiate athletes. I specialize in coaching defense, midfield, attack, and the draw, with an emphasis on strong fundamentals, game IQ, and position-specific skill development.
In addition to my lacrosse background, I have hands-on experience in athletic performance and personal training across multiple sports. From 2021–2024, I served as an Exercise Science Assistant at San Diego Miramar College, where I assisted in planning and executing training programs for multiple teams. I developed individualized and team-based workout plans focused on injury prevention, strength development, conditioning, and overall athletic performance. I also tracked and analyzed athlete progress, applied evidence-based training methods, and worked closely with coaching staffs to optimize both individual and team results.
