Sean McLaughlin
Sean is a Certified Elite Hockey Science Hockey Instructor entering his 10th year. He has developed a strong background playing at prep school during my high school years and continued on to play in the American Collegiate Hockey Association at the University of Kentucky. He has worked with hundreds of players in the DMV area to develop their skills and achieve their goals on the ice.
As a Level 5 Certified Instructor in EHS, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my coaching sessions. Whether your child is a beginner looking to improve their skills or an experienced player striving to reach the next level, he is committed to helping players reach their full potential.
Steve Diamond
Steve is a Certified Elite Hockey Science Hockey Instructor entering his 3rd year. Steve has over 10 years of coaching experience, including being the Head Coach for the James Madison Highschool Varsity Team. He excels in skill development and Hockey IQ Training.
Before coaching, Steve played AAA hockey growing up in the Northern Virginia area. After leaving Northern Virginia, he played Jr. A hockey in Michigan and Massachusetts before being recruited to play NCAA D-III.
Brian Hergt
Brian joined Elite Hockey Science in the spring of 2024. He grew up in Michigan playing youth hockey for several AAA teams (little Caesar’s, Compuware, and Belle Tire). Brian also played junior hockey on Long Island, NY for Apple Core in the EJHL before finishing my hockey career playing club hockey at Michigan State University.
Brian likes to work with players at all ability levels with a focus on skills development with proper biomechanics.
Mehul Bhatnagar
Mehul is a new addition to Elite Hockey Science. He played his youth hockey with the Reston Raiders while also playing and being an alternate for the South Lakes high school team in the NVSHL. Mehul is studying the statistics behind the skills for EHS. He is deeply involved in the development of Statlink which is being used to track players skills and development.
